Sea Through Plastics
Eight million metric tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year. Single use plastics are a major problem in our oceans. In my newest body of work, I am photographing sea life through plastic drinking straws. While the images are striking you can see that the plastic makes it hard to see the the true beauty and forms of ocean life.
